O.k. on my husband and I are in the midst of bankruptcy, just aspettante the hearing. Why now get offered credit cards right and left? Daily I'm getting bombarded with offers. I do not know anything about this and just a thought as to why?

EVERYONE gets those credit card offers. Just tear them up and throw them away–you don’t need ‘em. Ever.

If it does have to do with your bankruptcy, credit card companies want to offer you a line of credit to try and trick you into needing them. Just tear them up and throw them in the garbage. They’re not good for your credit at all.. hope everything turns out well for you.

I am going through the same thing. The minute you file with the Trustee, the companies get that information. They want to offer you these “deals” because they want to help you rebuild your credit. That’s all.

you are getting application forms, not offers. I think that you would find that if you applied for these cards your application would be declined.

they are mass-mailing people. they do not conduct a credit search before doing so.
